Respected Sir,

At the outset, we express our Gratitude to you for Conducting Limited Departmental Examination to fill up the 10% quota posts of LGC from Group ‘C’ (previously Group ‘D’) employees having Grade Pay of Rs.1800/-.

Sir, There were 30 posts of LGC laying vacant under 10% promotional quota in the year 2010 for which the A & N Administration has conducted the written exanimation vide letter No.48-1/2010-PW dated.24/09/2010 and published the result/merit for 23 posts on 31/01/2013. The balance 07 posts have been kept unfilled due to the litigation filed by 07 employees. In this connection we would like to state that during the period 2010-2012 some more posts of LGC become vacant under 10% promotional quota which was not filled as per Recruitment Rule.

As per the Recruitment Rule “If more of such employees then the number of vacancies available under Clause (ii) qualified at the examination such excess number of employees shall be considered for filling the vacancies arising in the subsequent years so that the employees qualifying at an earlier examination are considered before those who qualify at a later examination”

Therefore, we request your good self to kindly ascertain the total No. of vacant posts of LGC (Promotee) as on date and fill up all the posts from among the candidates qualified / Passed in the written examination contacted by the A & N Administration recently.
