Sub :- Request to fill up the vacant posts
of Lower Grade Clerk (LGC) (Promotee) arisen in the A & N
Administration between 2010 and 2012 under 10% quota from the qualified staffs
appeared in the written examination conducted by Administration in the year of
2012-Reg.

Sir,
At the outset, we express our
Gratitude to you for Conducting Limited Departmental Examination to fill up the
10% quota posts of LGC from Group ‘C’ (previously Group ‘D’) employees having
Grade Pay of Rs.1800/-.
Sir, There were 30 posts of LGC
laying vacant under 10% promotional quota in the year 2010 for which the A
& N Administration has conducted the written exanimation vide letter
No.48-1/2010-PW dated.24/09/2010 and published the result/merit for 23 posts on
31/01/2013. The balance 07 posts have been kept unfilled due to the litigation
filed by 07 employees. In this connection we would like to state that during
the period 2010-2012 some more posts of LGC become vacant under 10% promotional
quota which was not filled as per Recruitment Rule.
As per the
Recruitment Rule “If more of such
employees then the number of vacancies available under Clause (ii) qualified at
the examination such excess number of employees shall be considered for filling
the vacancies arising in the subsequent years so that the employees qualifying
at an earlier examination are considered before those who qualify at a later
examination”
Therefore, we request your good
self to kindly ascertain the total No. of vacant posts of LGC (Promotee) as on
date and fill up all the posts from among the candidates qualified / Passed in
the written examination contacted by the A & N Administration recently.
